Everton have released a further two players from their squad.
Left back Nuno Valente, who joined from Champions League winning Porto in 2005 and Andy Van Der Meyde, who joined from Inter Milan, have both been let go by manager David Moyes.
Van der Meyde made little impression in his four years with the club, while Valente found himself behind Joleon Lescott and Leighton Baines in the Goodison Park pecking order.
