Scotland Ties Up ?2m Wigan Deal



Wigan have signed striker Jason Scotland from Swansea City for a fee of around ?2million. The deal requires international clearance and will reunite Scotland - who scored 53 goals in 102 appearances for Swansea - with his former manager Roberto Martinez.

The 30 year old Trinidad and Tobago international has signed a two year deal and commented :

“It's great to get to play in the Premier League. It's a big step up.”

“Hopefully I can take it in my stride and do well. Just thinking about lining up against some of the best players in the world makes me smile.”
