Burnley v Everton Match Preview

Burnley captain Steven Caldwell is still missing, while it is unlikely that Everton boss David Moyes will recall Joleon Lescott to the starting line-up.

Burnley manager Owen Coyle will be without defender Michael Duff, who is still recovering from an ankle injury, but new signing Andre Bikey will start.

After scoring against Manchester United, Robbie Blake will start in support of Steven Fletcher upfront.

Everton boss David Moyes will continue with the versatile Phil Neville in central defence in the absence of the want-away Joleon Lescott. Neville will partner Joseph Yobo.

Rated doubtful for the away side are Steven Pienaar, who picked up a foot injury and Jack Rodwell, who has a twisted knee. Both players suffered their injuries during Everton's midweek Europa League clash.

Youngster Dan Gosling may deputise in midfield, with Everton reverting to a 4-4-2 formation, bringing Louis Saha in to partner Jo in attack.
