Blackburn v West Ham Utd Preview

New Blackburn signing Pascal Chimbonda may start for Sam Allardyce's side against a West Ham team who are likely to remain unchanged from the one that lost 2-1 to Tottenham.

Blackburn Rovers will have midfielder David Dunn back in contention, while striker Benni McCarthy has overcome an ankle problem and could start in tandem with new signing Nikola Kalinic.

Out for Sam Allardyce's side, however, are Ryan Nelsen and on loan forward Franco Di Santo.

For West Ham the small size of their squad means that Carlton Cole will once again start upfront on his own for Gianfranco Zola's side as new signing Alessandro Diamanti has not been registered in time to play.

Cole will be supported by a five man midfield, featuring new signing Luis Jimenez, Scott Parker, Mark Noble, Jack Collison and Junior Stanislas.

KICK-OFF: SATURDAY AUGUST 29th 15:00 GMT
