FA To Investigate Bellamy and Diouf Incidents

The Football Association have launched investigations into an alleged clash between a fan and Craig Bellamy at the end of the Manchester derby.

They will also be probing a confrontation between Blackburn forward El Hadj Diouf and an Everton ball boy.

Bellamy appeared to push a fan, who had invaded the pitch at the end of the match, in the face and the FA have confirmed that they “...are?investigating the incident and will be looking at the referee's match report.”

An allegation of racist abuse was made against Diouf against the Everton ball boy, whom he accused of failing to throw the ball back in a timely fashion.

The Blackburn player was interviewed by police after the match and the Football Association “will also be speaking with the police to establish what their inquiries are in the matter.”
