Striker Christian Benitez will be missing for Alex McLeigh's Birmingham City as they face a Burnley side who welcome back captain Steven Caldwell.
Defender Caldwell has been injured since the start of the season, but Burnley boss Owen Coyle is set to hand him his first Premiership start.
Definitely out for Burnley however are the trio of Chris McCann, Martin Paterson and most recently Jay Rodriguez, while winger Fernando Guerrero is doubtful with a hamstring strain.
Birmingham City will be without Christian Benitez, who is on compassionate leave after his father was injured in a car accident.
In the absence of injured strikers Cameron Jerome and Marcus Bent, Gary O'Connor is likely to start upfront on his own. The returning James McFadden and veteran Kevin Phillips will be on the bench for McLeish's side.
Left backs Franck Quedrue and Stuart Parnaby are both fit again, with the Frenchman set to get the nod ahead of Parnaby.
Still out, however, are defender Martin Taylor and midfielder Damien Johnson.
