Three members of Sam Allardyce's Blackburn Rovers squad have been hit by swine flu, while Bolton boss Gary Megson has confirmed that the virus has also affected his players.
Megson has said that four of his squad have come down with, and recovered from, the illness. The Bolton boss is quoted as saying :
“You are going to get one or two with swine flu and I think on the playing staff I think we have had five, four players and one member of staff. You try and do your best to avoid it but I would imagine it's near enough impossible.
“They are all okay at the moment, but it wouldn't be right to start giving you names.”
At Blackburn, Allardyce has confirmed three cases among his squad, with Chris Samba and David Dunn reported to be among those affected.
