Blackburn vs Tottenham Preview

Brett Emerton is out for Blackburn Rovers with a groin injury, while Tottenham will be without midfielder David Bentley.

Bentley has a calf strain and will miss the opportunity to face his former side.

Also out for Harry Redknapp's Spurs side are centre backs Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate; the pair having been missing for several weeks.

Redknapp looks set to name an unchanged side from the one that beat Manchester City 3-0 on Wednesday, with Peter Crouch being preferred to Robbie Keane as Jermain Defoe's strike partner.

In the absence of Brett Emerton, the returns to fitness of fellow midfielders David Dunn and Vince Grella have proven timely for Blackburn Rovers manager Sam Allardyce.

Both are expected to start for Rovers.

Franco Di Santo could be recalled to the starting line-up alongside Jason Roberts, with Benni McCarthy on the bench.

KICK-OFF: SATURDAY DECEMBER 19th 15:00 GMT
