Now that the two Davids : Sullivan and Gold, have taken over West Ham United, the tabloids are going mad speculating about who the club will sign in the transfer window.
In the ‘very unlikely' file is the Daily Mirror's suggestion that they will try to bring Fulham striker Bobby Zamora back to the club. Doubtful, considering that Fulham don't have cover considering that Clint Dempsey is injured.
Similarly, the Daily Post's suggestion that they will buy Jo from Manchester City doesn't ring true.
Far more likely is The Evening Standard's piece that links West Ham with Blackburn's Benni McCarthy. Now that one has the ring of truth, but we'll see.
