Hull City vs Manchester City Preview

Left back Wayne Bridge returns for Manchester City, while Hull boss Phil Brown has choices to make over his striking partnership.

Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and USA international Jozy Altidore have been in solid form in the past couple of matches, but Brown may opt to start on-loan forward Amr Zaki in place of one or other of the duo.

Kamel Ghilas (thigh) , Dean Marney (calf) and Ian Ashbee (ligament) are all long term absentees for Hull, while Jimmy Bullard is about a month away from a return to action.

Returning Nigeria midfielder Seyi Olofinjana looks likely to displace youngster Tom Cairney in the centre of the park.

With Wayne Bridge fit again after a knee injury, Man City boss Roberto Mancini is likely to start with the player in favour of Javier Garrido or Sylvinho.

Also in line for debuts are recent signings Patrick Viera and Adam Johnson could could replace Nigel De Jong and Martin Petrov respectively.

Definitely out for City are Vincent Kompany, who has a groin problem, and Micah Richards, who has a thigh strain. Kolo Toure will start, with Nedum Onuoha also featuring at centre back.

Emmanuel Adebayor and Carlos Tevez will lead the line for Manchester City with Craig Bellamy also featuring on the left side of midfield.
