Chelsea vs Bolton Match Preview

Chelsea duo Joe Cole and Deco are being rested for tonight's visit of Bolton Wanderers to Stamford Bridge.

Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti has stated that Michael Ballack and Salomon Kalou will start in their place.

Back in contention is defender Branislav Ivanovic who will return to the right back position after overcoming a knee injury.

Still out, however, are Jose Bosingwa, Ashley Cole and Michael Essien.

Nicolas Anelka could start in the place of Didier Drogba for this match.

Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle welcomes midfielders Mark Davies and Ricardo Gardner back from injury, although both are expected to start on the bench, with Jack Wilshere being preferred to Davies in central midfield.

Swedish striker Johan Elmander may drop to the bench in favour of Croatian forward Ivan Klasnic. Kevin Davies will continue as captain.
