It seems that a number of Aston Villa players are being targeted by rival Premiership clubs this summer. Most obviously, James Milner has been the target of a (rejected) ?20million bid from Manchester City.
Apparently, according to The Guardian newspaper, City are also interested in signing winger Ashley Young.
As, allegedly, are Tottenham, who - if The Daily Star are to be believed - will offer Robbie Keane and Jermain Jenas in exchange.
Elsewhere, there is the suggestion that Stoke boss Tony Pulis wants Villa striker Emile Heskey. If that is he can get rid of James Beattie and Dave Kitson.
