Versatile left-footer, Gareth Bale has signed a new four year contract with Tottenham Hotspur. The 20 year old has been in impressive form for Spurs in recent months and the deal is in recognition of this.
A statement on the official Tottenham website read:
“The club is delighted to announce that Gareth Bale has signed a new four-year contract which runs until 2014.
“The Wales international joined the club as a 17-year-old from Southampton in May 2007 and has gone on to make 75 appearances in our colours, scoring five goals.”
