Hodgson Gets LMA Manager Of Year Award

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson has won the League Managers Association Manager of the Year award.

The LMA, which consists of managers from the top four divisions of English football, voted Hodgson the winner by a record margin. This was in recognition of his achievements with Fulham, having guided the West London club to the final of the Europa League.

Chairman of the LMA, Howard Wilkinson, was quoted as saying:

“Since joining Fulham, Roy has transformed the club's fortunes.

“He is highly respected by the LMA members and also on an international level where he has worked his miracles in no fewer than seven countries.

“He is a great role model for all aspiring managers and coaches and is fully deserving of this recognition.”
