With Zavon Hines and Kieron Dyer still out, West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola will keep faith with Alessandro Diamanti in support of striker Guillermo Franco. Mark Noble, Scott Parker and Jack Collison are also all set to start.
Portsmouth could recall David James to goalkeeping duties in place of Asmir Begovic as the England international recovers from a calf problem.
