Wolves vs Sunderland Team Preview

Matt Jarvis returns for Mick McCarthy's Wolverhampton Wanderers while Sunderland have a number of players sidelined through injury.

Midfielders David Meyler and Lee Cattermole are both missing for Steve Bruce's side. Meyler has had surgery on a ligament injury, while Cattermole damaged his clavicle joint in training.

Also missing for Sunderland are George McCartney, John Mensah and Andy Reid.

Better news is the return from suspension of right back Alan Hutton, while youngster Jack Colback has been included in the squad for the final match of the season.

The return from a thigh strain of Matt Jarvis is good news for Wolves manager Mick McCarthy and is likely to be the only change from the side that lost 3-1 to Portsmouth last time out.

That would mean no starting berth for strikers Chris Iwelumo and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, with Kevin Doyle continuing in a lone frontman role.
