Everton FC have rejected a bid by Manchester City for versatile defender Joleon Lescott.
Lescott, who has played at centre half and left back for David Moyes side, has been at the club for three seasons since joining from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Moyes has publically stated that he won't be selling any players and commented on the bid :
“I have already said there will be no players sold at Everton and I do not feel I need to say any more.
“The board have never sold a player from me, it will only be at my discretion. I said it at the end of the season and I do not need to say any more.”
