Blackburn v Portsmouth Preview

Blackburn Rovers manager Sama Allardyce has a virtually fully fit squad to choose from ahead of the visit of the Premiership's bottom club, Portsmouth.

A number of Blackburn players, including strikers Jason Roberts and Benni McCarthy have suffered from swine flu in recent weeks, but all are now fit.

Allardyce's only injury concern is midfielder Vince Grella who is out with a thigh injury.

The only change to the starting line up that saw Rovers beaten 2-0 by Manchester United last time out could see Keith Andrews make way for Morten Gamst Pedersen on the left of midfield.

Portsmouth striker Frederic Piquionne will be fit enough to start for Paul Hart's side, despite the neck injury that saw him substituted in Portsmouth's 4-0 win over Wigan.

With Steve Finnan still out, Nadir Belhadj will continue at left back.

Portsmouth will look to field an unchanged side from the one that won their first match of the season last weekend, which means no place in the starting eleven for strikers Kanu and Tommy Smith.
