Defender Maynor Figueroa is missing for Wigan Athletic after sustaining a knee injury, while Fulham have injury worries of their own.
Fulham boss Roy Hodgson will be without midfielders Damien Duff, who has an achilles problem, and Danny Murphy, who is still sidelined with a knee injury. Also out is striker Andy Johnson who still hasn't overcome a shoulder problem.
Makeshift midfielder Chris Baird could therefore keep his place in the Fulham starting line-up.
Bobby Zamora and Diomansy Kamara are the most likely strike partnership for Roy Hodgson's men.
Maynor Figueroa aside, Wigan boss Roberto Martinez has no new injury concerns. Swedish left back Erik Edman may come into a starting line-up that is likely to be little changed from the one that lost 4-0 to Portsmouth.
